Simon brings 20 years’ experience working in both Australia and Europe as an archaeologist and cultural heritage practitioner. Simon has worked closely with the Converge team of archaeologists, built heritage experts and cultural heritage management specialists to successfully manage and complete many hundreds of projects since joining the team in 2004.

Furthermore, as the manager of Archaeo’s employment and training division, Simon plays a key role in the provision of safe and culturally appropriate employment services to in excess of 400 casual Traditional Owner field officers.

In addition to his managerial role, Simon continues to work as an active member of the company’s professional team and, alongside regularly participating in field assessment and excavation programs, is a key team member in the provision of strategic heritage advice to the company’s major clients, inclusive of Aboriginal Parties, private industry and local, State and Commonwealth Departments
