The Labour Hire wing of our company, Archaeo Cultural Heritage Service Pty Ltd (Archaeo), fulfills an additional role in the provision of employment, engagement and cultural heritage agreement implementation services for both Traditional Owner Groups and proponents across Queensland.
Converge and the Kabi Kabi People undertook an assessment of the proposed solar farm site at Aramara. The purpose was to provide background information for a Cultural Heritage Management Plan, developed under Part 7 of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2003.
In conjunction with the Kabi Kabi People, Converge undertook a cultural values assessment of the Mt Ninderry Environmental Reserve to develop strategies to manage potential impacts on Aboriginal cultural heritage from ongoing use and management of the reserve.
Converge work with the Healthy Rivers to Reef Partnership, Reef Catchments and the Mackay-Whitsunday-Isaac Traditional Owner Reference Group to undertake annual Indigenous Cultural Heritage Indicator Assessments in partnership with the reference group.
