Butchulla People - Traditional Owners of World Heritage-listed Fraser Island and the Adjacent Mainland

ARCHAEO has worked in close cooperation with the Butchulla people (the Traditional Owners of World Heritage-listed Fraser Island and the adjacent mainland) on a large number of projects since 2005.

The Galilee Basin

The Galilee Basin in central Queensland has been the focus of numerous coal mine exploration and development activities in the recent past.Proponents have included Adani, MacMines, Hancock, Waratah Coal and AMCI and incorporate some of the large coal projects ever envisaged in Australia.

Original Maryborough Town Archaeology

Converge has undertaken a series of excavations across the Queensland heritage-listed Original Maryborough Town Site. These excavations focussed on structures identified during the 1852 survey of the original township site and uncovered hundreds of historic artefacts including clay pipes, coins, glass, stoneware, and transfer ware.

Gladstone LNG Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) Projects
